JUNIOR ART FESTIWAL TAURON NOWA MUZYKA 2011
Same as last year, we will not be forgetting about young parents while organizing 6. Tauron Nowa Muzyka 2011. All of you who want to attend our festival and bring your little ones wwith you are more than welcome to do so! We have prepared a kids activity program for both main festival days (Friday-Saturday) and a closed of kids only district at the festival grounds, when every child will be looked after and entertained by a professional carer and child specialist (provided by our partner TIKA Studio).
There will be games, workshops (music, art) and much much more.
This part of Tauron Nowa Muzyka Festival 2011 will be called Junior Art Festiwal Tauron Nowa Muzyka 2011 so the emphasis is on artistic creativity.
Here’s the entire program of Junior Art Festiwal Tauron Nowa Muzyka 2011 divided into days with a short description of what to expect.
JUNIOR ART FESTIWAL TAURON NOWA MUZYKA 2011:
26th of August (Friday) – THEATRE WORKSHOPS:
All kids are taken on a magical trip into the world of fairytales and amazing stories. A professional Actress from Teatr Ateneum (Kids Theater from Katowice) will show many different dolls and puppets and will teach the kids how to animate them (bring then to life). Each child will be given a chance to star in a puppet show made together during the workshops. There will also be a chance to create an own, personal doll which each child will take home with them once the workshops are over!
26th of August (Friday) – MUSIC/ART WORKSHOPS:
We will get to know different musical instruments, and take part in arts/music workshops in order to create our very own music orchestra! The kids will sing, scream, dance just like they want to! Controlled Improvisation – is great fun and a way for the kids to find out what big drums, bells and all other things that make sound are! It’s going to be loud!
26th of August (Friday) – 27th of August (Saturday) DESIGNER WORKSHOPS:
This year wouldn’t be complete without the kid’s favorite designer workshops. As we all known cardboard is a child’s best friend, the one that gives numerous creation possibilities and triggers the imagination of a young Bob The Builder! During our workshops we will be making coal mines, mine shafts and other post-industrial artifacts, which than will get painted! The creators of the best mine shaft will not leave without a prize!
26th of August (Friday) – 27th of August (Saturday) PRESTIDIGITATION WORKSHOPS:
Our youngest festival goers will be provided with a safe space to play with a professional team of prestidigitators, who will reveal some secrets of their craft! Even young children can learn to juggle and animate puppets!
26th of August (Friday) – 27th of August (Saturday) STREET GAME OF BOTTLE CAPS:
For some parents this is the unforgettable game of their childhood (80’s/90’s). The simple bottle caps game cane be a great alternative for video games! Set in the outdoor, the bottle cao madness will let you child play and play and play!
26th of August (Friday) – 27th of August (Saturday) ZOOB BLOCKS PLAY AREA:
All kids will be able to play freely with the amazing ZOOB blocks. ZOOB blocks cane be used by children from the age of 3 and older. These blocks, because of their innovatory joining technique can be used for making vehicles, dinosaurs, building and more!
27th of August (Saturday) – GRAFFITI WORKSHOPS:
Along with our partners from Rebel Art we will teach the children the fascinating world of graffiti art painting. Our workshops focus on showcasing different wall painting techniques. It’s going to be funny and colorful, all under a close eye of the experts.
